About the role
Provide respectful personal care and day-to-day support in line with individual care plans. Duties may include helping with washing, dressing, meals, mobility and medication prompts; offering companionship and emotional support; maintaining accurate care notes; reporting changes in wellbeing; supporting safe, clean living environments; and following safeguarding, confidentiality, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures.
Requirements
At least 3 months of care experience is preferred. Applicants without care experience may be considered where they already hold valid UK permission to work and can start immediately, subject to employer checks and training. Relevant care, safeguarding, first-aid or health and social care certificates are an advantage. References, right-to-work checks and any required DBS or equivalent checks apply.
Working hours
40–48 hours per week. Shift, evening and weekend work may be required depending on the service.
Sponsorship information
Certificate of Sponsorship may be considered only where both the applicant and sponsoring employer meet the immigration rules in force. Under current rules, SOC 6135 sponsorship is generally limited to qualifying in-country cases, including applicants who have been working legally for the sponsor for the required period or eligible existing Skilled Workers. This vacancy is not an offer of sponsorship to new overseas applicants, and sponsorship is never guaranteed.
